Junk removal across Texas

Texas is huge, and so is the job list: Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio and Austin are all large metros, followed by El Paso, the Rio Grande Valley, Corpus Christi, Lubbock and many growing suburbs.

Junk removal for Texas businesses

Distribution is everywhere: AllianceTexas in north Fort Worth (one of the largest inland ports in the country), the I-35 and I-20 corridors through DFW, Port Houston and the Houston Ship Channel, and the border logistics hub in Laredo. Corporate relocations to DFW, Houston and Austin keep office moves and liquidations steady, and retail chains with many Texas stores need one vendor for resets.

Related services: warehouse cleanouts, 3PL warehouse decommissioning, pallet racking removal, retail store cleanouts and national accounts.

Common Texas projects

  • Taking down racking at AllianceTexas and DFW distribution centers
  • Clearing offices after corporate moves in Houston, Dallas and Austin
  • Running resets for retail chains with many Texas locations

Recycling rules to know in Texas

  • Texas requires computer and TV manufacturers to offer recycling programs to consumers (Texas Recycles Computers and Texas Recycles TVs, TCEQ). ERCC lists no statewide disposal ban for electronics.
  • Big cities schedule bulky pickup differently. Houston picks up heavy trash every other month (up to six times a year), Dallas runs monthly brush and bulky collection up to 10 cubic yards, and San Antonio collects curbside brush and bulky items twice a year.
  • Appliances that contain refrigerant need it recovered under EPA Section 608 before scrapping, so those units are handled separately from other junk.

State guidance comes from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). Local haulers and landfills may add their own limits.
